"I have grown a lot in my time in Endeavor. This whole program has really helped me stay clean in these past 9 months. There have been bad times, but we always get through them. "Endeavor has helped me in more than a few ways. Without Endeavor I would have ended up kicked out of my house, on drugs, and doing God knows what to get them. When I first heard that I was coming here, I was furious. I wanted to be done with it all and get back to my old lifestyle. Without the support of my Endeavor family and the love they give me, I could have been anywhere, including in a grave. I don't know about any other kids, but Endeavor has grown to be part of me (as much as I hate it at times). And even after I leave these people, it will always have a special place in my heart."

"Before Discovery, we had a son who did not know how to stay away from situations involving drugs and alcohol. He tried only half-heartedly to change his habits and his associations. He had numerous behavior problems in school and with the law because of his use. Finally he was ordered to attend the program, but willingly enrolled with our full support. We noticed a change in his behavior and attitudes within the very first days of being there. He had a wonderful support group, made up of other students, a very dedicated staff of counselors, and a full-time teacher. Our son was encouraged to accomplish goals for overcoming addiction and was rewarded when the goal was accomplished. These goals included honesty, acceptance, finding purpose in life, understanding, and making amends. He also developed a relapse prevention plan for himself with the information he learned in the Discovery program. As a follow up to his commitment to sobriety, he joined the Endeavor classroom. Endeavor makes it possible for students to have a good high school experience with the support of other students and a caring and dedicated counselor. Endeavor students have committed to living a clean and sober lifestyle. As parents, we are so thankful to have the son that we know and love back with us again!"
